It’s a perfect sling-over-your-shoulder as you’re launching out the door, carrying all your goods to the gym, bringing home your farmers market haul, or notebooks, snacks and a blanket for a sunny afternoon in the park.
Components :
Cotton twill tape ties to close; the same strap hangs inside with a key ring attached so you won’t have to dig around for 5 minutes at your door for your keys. 2 darts at the bottom afford some extra cargo capacity. Can be worn on the shoulder or as a crossbody.
Materials :
This bag, apart from the hardware, is made entirely of cotton! The fabric, thread, label, and ties are all made of cotton. You could compost this bag (after many many years of good use, of course).

My Classic Tote — No one's reinventing the wheel here, just putting my own spin on it. 5 exterior pockets: 2 on one side, 3 on the other. Straps are double layer, lined with a gros-grain ribbon for subtle flair. Strap length is 24", perfect for slinging over one's shoulder and easy reach-in. Reinforced double-layer bottom. 12oz Canvas weight, neither too stiff nor too slouchy. Softens over time, just like us.
Tyvek: air-barrier by day, tote bag by night. Just kidding; tote bag all day and all night. Durable, weightless, tear-resistant, water-resistant, crumples into nothing — the material that can do it all (except get close to heat!) Feat. interior pocket. Strap material will change based on material availability (aw scrap!)
